Another Reason to Hate Vista

Man I hate Vista, OMG DO I EVER HATE IT. Who wants an operating system that when you do a driver update (or should I say when Windows does a driver update automatically), it blue screens the PC to death after reboot. I anticipate the arrival of Windows 7 and I hope that it fixes all the issues Vista comes prepackaged with.

This past issue was from a page_fault_in_nonpaged_area blue screen error.

Update!
So I did the disk check on this laptop using Vista System Recovery and it came up clean. That is good, I was hoping there wouldn't be any problems with the hard disk. This laptop is an HP DV7 series laptop. Its pretty sweet with quad core processor and 6gb of memory. Anyway it comes with the recovery and boot drive partitions which saved me in this case. I hit F11 on boot and it took me to the HP Vista Recovery control, so I ran the check disk like I stated and then following that I went to System Restore and picked right before the Windows updates started occurring. That fixed the problem! I disabled the automatic updates so its done manually now. Man that was a pain, but I do recommend this laptop, its pretty nice. Just Vista is lame for crashing on me, at least it recovered.
